An Eden Ridge Farm Box is a delightful opportunity to fill your table with up to 16 weeks of organically cultivated seasonal treasures from your local farm (and, on occasion, items sourced from other trusted, kindred spirits in the realm of chemical-free farming with whom we collaborate with.)

What Treasures are in a Weekly Box?
Visualize transferring your perfectly packed and freshly harvested, crisp and colorful farm produce into your cooler or bag. Imagine going home and creating mouth-watering simple recipes and hearing your family offering up their praises for a flavorful packed meal that delights their taste buds.
Each box includes approximately 6-7 produce items per week. A lovely blend of must-have staples and on occasion some rare specialty varieties to help you explore some profound flavors while possibly broadening your food boundaries a bit.

Where Do I Pick Up My Farm Box?
We have 3 choices for your convenience! Please choose only one pickup location for the season.
OPTION 1 | AT THE FARM
Conveniently located 15 min. south of West Des Moines city limits. 12 min. south of Norwalk & 15 min. west of Indianola, and just minutes from surrounding local communities. Gatherings for pickups are on farmhouse front porch every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 6 PM, coinciding with our regular full spread market tables also open to the public. Available June 9th – September 24th 2026.
OPTION 2 | TRUTH CHIROPRACTIC
Convenient location right off EP True PKWY in West Des Moines, hosted by our sweet friends at TRUTH. This pickup option awaits you every Wednesday from 4-4:30 PM. Available June 9th 2026 – September 24th 2026.

OPTION 3 | THRIVE CHIROPRACTIC
New Farm Drop location for 2026! Conveniently situated at NW Urbandale Dr/100th St. in Urbandale, this new pickup spot is hosted by our new friends at THRIVE. Join us every Wednesday from 3-3:30 PM. Available June 10th 2026 – September 24th 2026. Please note that there is an additional #3 fee per delivery already included in the purchase cost of your farm box option at checkout.

HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOU
Communication is our secret sauce! Email is our go-to way to keep you in the know!
Throughout the 16-week farm box growing season (or 4 weeks if you’re “sampling”) we’ll be buzzing in your inbox using the email you signed up with. If you’re missing that shiny welcome email for the 2026 season, give your spam folder a little peek! Still no email? Give us a shout ASAP! Just a heads up, it may take up to 24 hours during normal business hours after your purchase. Any urgent or time sensitive info, or quick alerts, may be thrown in a text (but that’s a rare occasion). Expect a weekly email, and by hopping on board this farm box bandwagon, you’re promising to check that email to stay in the loop! Sometimes, it’s the only place to find the nitty-gritty details, making it a must-read for all farm box shareholders!
HOW TO INVEST IN THE FARM & SAVE

Our preferred Payment – is CASH or CHECK. It’s not just nostalgic! Cash is king and it should never go out of style. Any small business owners stomachs turn sour at all the fees. Once you get that invoice by email, you can swing by the farm with cash during business/farm pickup hours, or pop a local check in the mail—just give us a heads-up first! FARM BOX SIZES
Boxes typically feed about 2-3 adult individuals. Wondering why? It’s the sweet spot for most of our Farm Box families, while keeping things simple with fewer box sizes. With 6-7 veggie goodies per box, you’ll be swimming in greens & veggies before you know it! (But don’t worry, we give you recipes and ideas on how to use it!) If you’ve got a big crew to feed, (yay, for large families) feel free to snag more than one box. (Pro-tip for large families) Grab your first box and unlock farm-fresh discounts with the purchase of a Farm Membership, and use it for snagging extra farm goods at discounted pricing!

FARM ADD-ONS
Farm Box shareholders can order farm add-ons like honey, eggs, farm teas, jams, jellies, & natural farm goods, to your boxes each week when available. Please order 24-48 hours before your pickup to ensure your selections are included in your weekly farm pickup or drop-off location; otherwise, they will be included in next week’s box.
Remember, pastured chicken and woodland pork grace our offerings nearly every month when available! (Turkey is available seasonally). Be sure to secure your deposits promptly each month, because our farm meat vanishes swiftly.
**Please note, at this time, we are unable to deliver our chicken, pork, turkey, and raw milk to our drop locations. These items are available for on farm pickup only.
EARLY IN THE SEASON BOXES
Just a heads up, the first few weeks of Farm Boxes are like a light appetizer before the feast! As the growing season progresses, our produce party really kicks off. When the harvest hits full swing, get ready for the bounty! Trust us, it all levels out by July! It’s all part of the growing and harvesting adventure!
**Throughout the summer and on into fall, you can expect to see at any of our on-farm market tables overflowing with a delightful array of produce and seasonal products! (On-farm market tables are open to the public as well.) Some items are only available to Farm Membership Shareholders though. It pays to be a Farm Member!
WHEN DOES THE GROWING SEASON BEGIN & END?
Our 2026 farm box season commences on June 9th and extends until September 24th. This grants you 16 weeks of delightful farm-to-table treasures! The abundance of fresh produce starts to show up in May and usually continues until the end of October (However, these months are not included in full season boxes, but keep an eye out for quick grab-and-go specials for these, along with pop-up on farm market tables before the actual Farm Boxes begin, or ends!)

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO BE IN MY BOX EACH WEEK?
Eden Ridge offers a delightful array of farm goods throughout the year, alongside seasonal treasures of fresh produce. Venture over to the What We Provide page, where a tapestry of month-by-month offerings awaits your discovery, guiding you in what to expect from the harvest. While this resource provides a fair glimpse into our bounty, do keep in mind that we are at the mercy of the seasons and whims of weather. Thus, while we cannot promise the exact arrival of each vegetable and fruit, we can offer a well-informed forecast.
Don’t forget to explore all the other farm offerings we provide month-by-month all year long!
SELF-SELECT BOXES
Are only available with a farm pickup option, and not included at drop locations. Please keep in mind that your semi-custom box option includes pickup instructions that enable you to choose your seasonal favorites based on what’s available each season. We encourage self-select box shareholders to arrive early to take advantage of the best selection every week!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING EACH WEEK?
Bring your own bag or a mini coolerHerd-Shares, locker fees and Farm Collaborative Partner products.)t away your fresh goodies each week! (Help us spend money on seeds, and not packaging.) When the sun’s blazing, we totally recommend an insulated bag with an ice pack to keep those greens and produce as crisp as can be.
** Just a friendly tip: steer those ice packs clear of your salad or greens, or they might turn into a sad, wilty mess by the time you get home!**
CAN I SEND A PICKUP SUBSTITUTE IF I CAN'T PICKUP MY BOX?
Absolutely! If you can’t swing by to grab your farm box at the farm or your drop off site, just send a friend or family member to snag your box for you at your usual pick-up location. All we need is your name ** when they arrive. Just give your fill in substitute the lowdown on the pick-up process based on your chosen box option.
**Also, a little nudge to remind them to bring a cooler or bag for the goodies wouldn’t hurt either! We’re here to lend a helping hand if they need it. And hey, a quick heads-up that you’re sending someone in your place would be super helpful!**
OOPS! I MISSED MY PICKUP!
Whoopsy-daisy! We’re bummed you missed out!
Please note: It takes a whole lot of hours, days, and weeks to plan, grow, harvest, and pack your farm goods three days a week! There’s a mountain of behind-the-scenes that happens here. It’s a big investment, and our family rolls up our sleeves to do it all—though we occasionally call in reinforcements during the crazy busy times!
REMINDER: If you do not call, text the farm, or show up, we will assume you wish to donate your box for the week. To request a special pickup due to a special circumstance you need to arrange that 24 hours in advance with Farmer Esther! Next day arrangements might be an option, please follow instructions sent to you via email if next day request was granted.
**No doubling up on missed boxes the following week**
EMERGENCIES: If life throws you a curveball and you can’t pick up your box, please make alternative arrangements or reach out to us ASAP for possible solutions. We totally encourage you to have a friend or family member to swoop in for you! If something pops up, just give us a ring or a quick email or text! Communication is the secret sauce to keeping this whole farm thing running smoothly.
BOX DONATIONS: If you’re heading out of town or can’t find a buddy to pick up your box, please let us know and we will donate it for you. But if your farm box is left behind on pickup day without any prior arrangements, it’ll be considered ‘abandoned’ and whisked away to one of our favorite local charities!
CAN I SWITCH MY PICKUP LOCATION?
We kindly urge you to select a location that best suits your family’s needs for the full 16 weeks, or (if choosing to do monthly boxes, choose the months that work best for your schedule.) We understand that life can be unpredictable, so if plans must shift, please designate a trusted family member or friend to collect your box, or consider donating it. In urgent situations, we encourage you to reach out to a family member or friend to retrieve your farm goods. If no one can step in, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
**Are you a member of the raw milk herdshare program, as well as a Farm Box shareholder? We recommend coordinating your pickups on the same day you collect your raw milk at the farm to streamline your farm trips. Contact Farmer Esther and she will do her best to coordinate the schedule and save you a trip to the farm!
HOW TO USE A FARM MEMBERSHIP FOR EXTRA SAVINGS & ADD-ONS
USE A 2026 FARM MEMBERSHIP FOR EXTRA SAVINGS: Purchase Farm Membership and save 5% on your Farm Box option! Just be sure you enter your Farm Membership code at checkout! We can’t add any discounts after the order has been placed.
ONLINE SHOPPING: Dive into our online farm store any hour of the day or night! Toss those add-on goodies into your cart and pick your farm pickup day or your farm box drop location (just make sure you chose the same day as your Farm Box share!) If you are also a Farm Member remember, before you hit that submit button, don’t forget to enter your Farm Membership code in the coupon section because once you click submit, it’s like trying to un-bake a cake—impossible!
ON FARM MARKET TABLE SHOPPING: Is perfect for those who love shopping in person! Just give us a friendly reminder that you have farm membership and please have your membership card ready at checkout. If you happen to overlook entering your membership discount code for your farm orders, we can no longer apply it after submission. We kindly ask you not to request adjustments, as this is no longer feasible once an order has been placed. Should we need to cancel the order, please be aware that we cannot refund the entire amount due to processing fees that remain incurred, along with a modest office fee for “redoing” or rectifying the order. FARM PICKUP HOURS & INFO
On Farm pickups are available every Tuesday & Thursday from 2-6 pm year-round for all kinds of farm purchases.
Our farm box season and on farm market tables will be available during the 2026 growing season from June 9th – September 24th as weather permits. At this time, we are currently doing pickups on the farmhouse front porch (please note, this is a different driveway than main farm entrance – follow directions from your weekly emails.)

WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER ON PICKUP DAY?
“Bad weather” is defined as severe thunderstorm, hail, tornado warnings, lightening, blizzards or any weather not advised for travel – anything that prevents you, or us from safely standing outside. If this type of weather occurs, we will contact you via email or text with alternate details.
CANCELLATION POLICY
What about cancellation refunds for Farm Boxes? Sadly, we cannot offer refunds due to the money being spent for seeds and gardening supplies for the growing season at the beginning of the growing season – it’s what our CSA Farm Boxes are intended for, investing in up-front farm costs.
However, if something’s got you feeling less than thrilled about a farm product or purchase, please reach out to us ASAP! We’re here to turn that frown upside down and make things better, the best way we can that works for you and our own family.
FORCE MAJEURE
If Eden Ridge Acres LLC is unable to carry out its obligations due to a Force Majeure
We will do our best to send out a written notice to customers in such an event, and the obligations shall be suspended to the extent necessary by such event. The term Force Majeure shall include, without limitations, acts of God, medical personal emergency, plague, epidemic, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis, including quarantine or other restrictions, fire, explosion, vandalism, storm or other similar occurrence, orders or acts of military or civil authority, or by national emergencies, insurrections, riots, or wars, or strikes, lockouts, or supplier failures. Eden Ridge Acres LLC agrees to do what they can to accommodate the needs of the customers as best as they can, if able and possible.
