A Farm to Table Account (Custom CSA) is something we’ve created for our farm in 2023. We listened to our 2022 farm box members, and we revamped our game plan to make it even better!
We’re calling it “A new-fashioned CSA approach” with the lowest risks for both consumer and the farmer. Traditional CSA’s often carry with them extra loss for the farmer & the consumer both, when a crop fails due to weather conditions, or environmental issues out of the farmer’s control.
A Farm to Table Account allows you to invest in our farm and stay within your grocery budget with as little as $550 a year farm investment, giving you the opportunity to earn up to 5% extra farm cash to spend! SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT
When Ordering Your Farm to Table CSA Account
You will want to create an Eden Ridge website account at checkout. You will be asked for your name, address, email and phone number. You will create a password.
This will enable you to see your available Farm Cash everytime at checkout for future farm purchases. This also helps us manage our members easier for farm pickups and drops.
HOW TO INVEST IN THE FARM & SAVE
Choose what Farm to Table CSA Account investment works for you and earn extra farm cash. Also earn an additional 10% off and other perks by becoming a Farm Member.

Once you order, you will be emailed your access to your Farm to Table Account.

HOW TO USE MY FARM CASH ACCOUNT?
Add the farm goods you want to purchase into your cart. At the time of check out you will see your current farm cash balance. Click ‘apply’ to use your farm cash when ordering. If you are a Farm Member as well, don’t forget to use your special coupon code for extra savings. (If you forget to use your coupon code, we are unable to apply it later.)
WHEN DOES THE GROWING SEASON BEGIN?
Our 2023 growing season is May 30th – October 26! A total of 22 weeks of farm to table goodness!
WHAT WILL I BE ABLE TO ORDER EACH WEEK?
Please head over to our What We Grow page to view a list of some of the things you will most likely find month by month. This page will give you a pretty good idea of how to plan for what will be available. This is not 100% accurate though, as we are unable to control the seasons and the weather that comes with it. We can’t give you an exact date of each veggie and fruit we grow, just a good guess with our farm planning.
On occasion we may put a limit amount on certain product items. This will only be done when we have limited supply of certain product, or for specialty items we have grown. This is to ensure all farm to table account members get a chance to enjoy all that our farm has to offer.
DOES MY FARM TO TABLE CASH ACCOUNT EVER EXPIRE?
Yes. Your cash account will expire December 31st of 2023. You will need to use all your cash before the year ends.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T USE UP ALL MY FARM CASH?
Your cash account expires on December 31st of 2023. If you haven’t used all your farm cash by years end, we will donate 5% to a local charity or cause. The rest will be placed right back into the farm for future growth.
We do not offer cancellation refunds. If you for any reason are dissatisfied with an item or have a problem with your account, please give us a chance to make you happy by connecting with us ASAP. We want the best for our farm friends! Do you have an emergency that affects your Farm to Table Account investment? Please communicate your situation as early as you can so we can address things immediately. In most cases we are unable to refund due to prior investments on our part. But we will try and work case by case.
If Eden Ridge Acres LLC is unable to carry out its obligations due to a Force Majeure
We will do our best to send out a written notice to customers in such an event, and the obligations shall be suspended to the extent necessary by such event.
The term Force Majeure shall include, without limitations, acts of God, medical personal emergency, plague, epidemic, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis, including quarantine or other restrictions, fire, explosion, vandalism, storm or other similar occurrence, orders or acts of military or civil authority, or by national emergencies, insurrections, riots, or wars, or strikes, lockouts, or supplier failures. Eden Ridge Acres LLC agrees to do what they can to accommodate the needs of the
customers as best as they can if able.

Your cash account provides us with money to purchase seed, or the labor to save the previous years seed. It helps purchase supplies and equipment before the season even begins.

FARM CASH EARNINGS
Load your cash account before Tuesday, February 28th, 2023, to earn up to an extra 5%-10% cash back! After this date, all extra farm cash percentages will be cut in half. Save more by investing in more upfront!
CAN I SWITCH MY PICK-UP OR DROP OFF LOCATION?
YES. We ask that you try your best to stick with your first initial chosen pick-up or drop off site option, but we also understand things do happen and plans must change. If it happens every now and then, we can accommodate it. You just need to let us know 24 hrs. in advance. For emergency cases, we ask that you please try and connect with a family or friend to pick up your farm goods. If someone can’t take your place, please give us a call.
DO YOU CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR MISSED PICKUPS?
No. It takes numerous hours, days and weeks involved to plan, grow, harvest, pack farm goods Two days a week. Much work goes on behind the scenes. It’s a major investment, and our family does it all ourselves, on occasion during busy seasons we may hire help. Our Farm to Table Account allows you the complete freedom on when you purchase your farm goods. We ask that you utilize that often and plan accordingly. If you are unable to pick up due to emergencies, please make different arrangements. Have a family or friend pick-up for you. If something comes up, please call us! Communication is everything to keep a small business running smoothly.
CAN I SEND A PICKUP SUBSTITUTE IF I CAN'T COME?
Yes, of course! If you cannot pick up your farm goods yourself, simply send a substitute family or friend! All they need to do is give us your name at pick-up. Just share the pick-up ropes with your substitute and how it works. Remind them to bring a cooler, box or crate to take items home in. We can assist them as needed. It’s helpful if you let us know you are sending a friend in your place just as a heads up.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY ACCOUNT WHEN I'M AWAY?
We want you to get your vacation in, those times of refreshing are important! If you plan on going on a trip, please use your Farm to Table Account responsibly. Please don’t order farm items if you plan to be out of town during pickups or drop off days. Please plan ahead and have a friend or family member come in your place if you plan to order. We do not credit accounts for missed pickups or vacation or trip travels. We ask that you help us out by planning proper arrangements for your Farm to Table Account investment, so we can keep offering affordable prices to all participating families.
WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER ON PICKUP DAY?
We define “bad weather” as severe thunderstorm, hail, tornado warnings, lightening, blizzards or any weather not advised for travel – anything that prevents you or us from safely standing outside. If this type of weather occurs, we will contact you via email or text with alternate details.
LOCKER FEES ON BULK MEAT
Your CSA Account can be used for reserving your bulk meat through deposits, as well as the remaining balance of your meat purchases. However, your account cannot be used for any locker fees. This is done with a separate billing process.
WEST DES MOINES DROP INFO
We offer a West Des Moines drop once a week, every Thursday at EP True Chiropractic. There is a $25 minimum order (after any discounts.) A $5 drop fee, however, if you have a Farm Membership, it’s free. All Farm pickups have no minimum order, or fees.
